What new liquidators don’t know can be that they have buyers who will purchase all of the items you own. The buyers are all over the world, and if you reside in a community that is unique and the buyer doesn’t exist, you are able to quickly sell off your stock to buyers in a different community.

Let’s look at an imaginary inventory and locate an individual buyer for each product you own.

The Retail Merchandiser

Let’s assume that we have an inventory that includes 5000 pieces of packaged soap for retail which can be bought for 10 cents each for as long as the soap can be sold for the same time. It is possible for this product to be offered by a retail store as a singular item or as a 2 or 3 pack at a dollar or less.

Who is the best buyer for this kind of item?

A dollar Store… simple and straightforward. This is the exact kind of goods that dollar stores purchase every day. The primary requirement is that we have to sell all of the merchandise to a single buyer.

There are two options. There is the chain dollar store or a smaller local business with just one or two stores. With a capacity of 5000 units, the quantity of stock isn’t massive enough that a small-scale business owner would have to struggle to decide on a purchase.

If there aren’t any Dollar stores in your neighborhood, then you’re in the wrong place.

Just do a Google search for a shop in a nearby town or an office for a chain of stores that sell at a dollar. Contact them and inquire with the Buyer to inquire about the kind of product that you wish to trade. If you get in touch with the buyer, ask them the buyer for an example and then wait to see how they react and then make the sale!

Each has its own advantages. If you form a partnership with a chain that is large and you have a potential customer for a massive amount of merchandise that will be offered through retail outlets all over vast geography and demographics.

Five thousand soap units are just a drop of soap in an empty bucket, and the chain that is this.

In fact, if you discover two million pieces, you may get even more attention since these chains generally require massive quantities of products.

An easy way to do this is, to begin with, smaller stores in your area or chains. You can open nearby Yellow Pages or Yellow pages online and look to find Dollar stores. Jot down the numbers you need and make a phone call to determine the interest.

You are not talking to large chain stores, but a local mom-and-pop kind of person. They are simple to reach and are always searching for a profitable product.

Request the owner’s name as a sales clerk at the cash register. It will be a completely unnecessary waste of time.

Here’s a quick script you can utilize:

“Hi, my name is John from Acme. We have a unique collection of Beauty soap from Acme that is priced lower than what you’re currently paying. I’ll be in your town this morning. Would you like to have some samples? Good, when will you be there?”

Many retailers will tell you, yes but don’t get discouraged even if you don’t get a yes. You can make a few calls until you’ve got one or two yeses and then go, with samples in the bag. Make sure you take the inventory details you gathered at the time of sale.

Be punctual and polite and spend a few moments getting acquainted with the person you have just met. Give them a sample of your merchandise and inform them that the product is accessible. If they want to know where the product is located, then simply say that it’s being stored for safekeeping.

Find out what the store charges for this particular item. Anything that is more than your purchase cost of 10 cents is the possibility of profit for you.

Close the sale by negotiating an agreed price and payment arrangement. Make sure you inquire with the seller if he would like to view other merchandise from the time date, he’ll surely respond, and you will have the first sale and your first customer to present any future sales to!
